A 3-hour excursion for schoolchildren

Students will find out and experience all about Ice Age, how it began, its effects on the environment and the traces it has left behind. After the excursion, students will be able to interpret traces of the Ice Age on the terrain, and older students will also be able to do so from maps.

This excursion can be done on the Uukuniemi Ice Age Trail, at the Oronmylly Centre for Conferences and Camps or on the Likolampi Nature Trail near the centre of Parikkala. The price includes the necessary study materials, maps and a guide. €13/oppilas
