Cross-country skiiing

In winter, our forests are criss-crossed with an array of ski tracks of different lengths. You can even ski at night along illuminated tracks. Up-to-date ski track maps are available at the municipal website (link).

Around the Oronmylly Centre for Conferences and Camps are competition-standard tracks 2-, 5- and 10 km long. The terrain is very varied and the tracks have comfortable climbs and fast-paced downhill sections.

Downhill skiiing

The nearest slope for downhill skiing is at Konkamäki ( linkki: http://naks1.net/konkaski/) at Simpele. Other ski centres are also located in neighbouring regions (link: http://www.ski.fi/hiihtokeskukset).

Skating expeditions
