Dairy Museum

The museum is situated in the grounds of the Parikkala Crafts Centre.
Opening times: same as for the Crafts Centre. Mon-Thurs 9am - 5 pm, Fri 9am - 2 pm. Admission free
The Dairy Museum displays implements used in the preparation of milk, cream and butter from the beginning of the 20th century. It also has a wooden butter table, separators and churns. The store room (milk room) shows moulds required for making butter. The room next door (dairy master's room) is decorated in the style of the early 20th century.
