3.6.4 Bird-watching towers, lookout towers and areas of natural beauty

In the Parikkala region, you can get to know the scenery of Ladoga-Karelia that stretches onto the Finnish side. Rolling terrain, dozens of lakes, lush shoreside scenery and the beautiful Salpausselkä make the region's landscape unique. Some of the cultural landscape has been nationally acclaimed.

For lovers of picturesque scenery there are many destinations, some of which have lookout towers.
